Hi everyone!
My name is Ange and welcome to Conscious Living Hub. I started this project in 2020 to share stories and ideas that resonate with me around Conscious Living. You’ve properly heard this mantra pop up, but for those of you who are not familiar.
Conscious Living is about taking control of your life. It’s thinking about your decisions rather than making them without thought. Choosing to be mindful of matters that overtime may have been neglected. Having a life that we want rather than settling for the one that befalls us.
It’s about following a lifestyle that sustains and enriches your wellbeing. It’s about how you interact with your surrounding environment both locally (family / friends / home / work / community) and globally (planet). It is about the journey, not the destination.
Mindset, purchasing habits, waste, being ethical are all important to who we are. The conscious journey I am on, gives these things more consideration. From this I try and make small shifts. That I feel will have a positive impact on me and the people around me. Each day I try and make conscious decisions around how much food I waste, plastic I use and where I buy things from.
I have discovered that the area that really inspires me is mindset and equipping people with the tools and confidence to better control their energy. So that they feel happier, healthier and more empowered to show up the way they want in this world?
So as we say goodbye to 2020. A year that saw so many communities and businesses affected by Australia’s devastating bushfires and global pandemic. A year that saw peoples mental health put to the test. Many experiencing heightened levels of anxiety and increased periods of feeling out of control.
I have chosen to use 2021 to share simple tips that I use everyday to live a life that makes me happy. At any point in time each of us can identify at least one area that is a bit blah. However if you could be guaranteed of improving that area you might choose to put extra time and energy into it. For those who choose to tune in to Conscious Living Hub, I hope you have an aaaa – haaaa moment. Most importantly I hope you think, hey I can do that and feel empowered to give it a go.
